Lamia
My name is Lamia, or Mia for short. I'm a Sacramento-based photographer dedicated to capturing the world's beauty one frame at a time. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm embracing the joys of motherhood and capturing as many magical and goofy moments as possible with my son.
Surprisingly, I had yet to consider photography in my life plan. I was a medical assistant for several years in many different medical offices until a woman with a crystal ball brain and an incredibly eye-opening experience entered my life and whispered all things photography in my ear. From there, my world has slowly bloomed into something exquisitely beautiful.
My life is blended and filled with creativity, curiosity, and thrill-seeking excitement. When I'm not spending time with loved ones and friends, you usually find me curled up in a cozy blanket with my nose in a book. I am an avid fantasy-romance reader, often lost in mythical worlds of the Fae, Wicca's, wizards, gargoyles, and, most importantly, love. Reading takes me to a place full of enchantment and exhilarating experiences that influence my work in the photography world.
I am a thrill seeker, always looking for new adventures and adrenaline-pumping experiences, whether on a roller coaster or binge-reading my latest book. I love all things spooky, so of course, Halloween is my favorite time of year, but in my home, Halloween is a year-long celebration. Next to all of my dark oddities and curiosities, you will find vibrant greenery that will make you feel like you're hiding in an indoor jungle. As a tattooed, hopeless romantic, and proud Leo, I embrace my life with a fiery spirit and a heart full of passion. My tattoos tell the stories of my dreams and desires, which mirror my romantic and whimsical outlook on life.
Above all, I am a devoted animal lover who cherishes every moment spent with my fur (and scale) babies: Pickle, a Shih Tzu who will turn 13 this coming April; Mochi, a one-year-old spoiled French Bulldog; Butters, a Banana Ball Python; Medusa, a Ball Python; and Citrine, a rescued Tortoiseshell named after my favorite crystal, who will be two in October. Welcome to the zoo!
My day begins with a strong cup(s) of coffee, fueling my creativity and inspiring me to continue my adventures. But before I dive into the day, I seek guidance and insight from the mystical realm of tarot readings. The lover's tarot, one of my tattoos, symbolizes union and romantic consideration for yourself and your partner, a reflection of my hopeless romantic nature.
Whether I'm capturing a fleeting moment, embracing a thrilling adventure, finding new meaning in life with my son, or tending to my plants, my goal remains the same. I am always seeking ways to infuse love, magic, and a bit of wonder into everything I do, including the work I create.
Let's create something magical together!
Andrew
Hi, I’m Andrew, a photographer based in the heart of Sacramento. Photography is more than just a job—it’s a way to connect with people and show them the beauty in their everyday lives. As a family man and Christ follower, I live by the values of love, patience, and integrity, which shape how I approach life and photography. These values help me capture the true essence of each person and moment, bringing out what makes them special.
My love for cars, golf, and football also influences my work. Whether it’s the precision of a golf swing or the attention to detail in a car’s design, I bring that same focus and care to every photo I take. I believe that capturing life’s details helps tell the full story.
Photography is about so much more than just a well-composed picture. It’s about capturing genuine emotions, telling a story, and creating memories you’ll cherish for a lifetime. Whether it’s the laughter of a child, a candid family moment, or the excitement of a special day, I want my photos to reflect the love and connection in your life. My goal is to create images that don’t just fill an album, but become treasured memories that still spark the same emotions years later, evoking a sense of nostalgia and sentimentality.
What drives me is helping people see just how meaningful their everyday moments are. Life moves fast, and it’s easy to miss those little moments that end up meaning the most. I love being able to freeze time, even for a moment, and give you something to look back on that brings those memories rushing back.
As someone who deeply values family, I understand how important it is to preserve those fleeting moments. Time passes quickly, but photography allows us to hold onto the moments that matter. I’m committed to making sure you feel seen, heard, and comfortable in front of the camera so that your true personality shines through in every shot. My commitment to your satisfaction is unwavering, ensuring you feel reassured and confident in the quality of my work.
I’m a regular guy who loves working with people to create authentic, meaningful photos. I want my clients to feel comfortable, have fun, and enjoy making memories. So whether you’re looking for family portraits, exceptional event photography, or want to capture the joys of everyday life, I’m here to help, and look forward to photographing your event.
Debbie
I’m Debbie Labrot, owner and lead photographer at Lily Rose Photography, our sister brand. Our mission is simple: to capture people in their element, authentically, celebrating life, love, and the connections that make every moment special. We specialize in weddings and events across Northern California: Sacramento, Napa Valley, Sonoma, and California’s scenic locales, from Carmel and San Francisco to Tahoe—and beyond!
I’ve had the privilege of capturing over 750 weddings, along with dozens more as a second photographer. For those curious about the name, “Lily” and “Rose” are my nieces’ middle names—a personal touch I wanted to carry forward and hopefully pass down to inspire future generations of creatives.
On a wedding day, I create a calm, compassionate atmosphere. My approach encourages couples to soak in every detail, be present, and enjoy every moment as it unfolds. I often think of Cesare Pavese’s words, “We do not remember days, we remember moments,” a perspective that guides me as I capture memories you’ll cherish forever.
On a personal note, I’m married to an incredibly kind man, and we have four wonderful children—David, Matthew, Christopher, and Conner—who mean the world to us. Family is our foundation, and it feels complete now that my parents and sister are back in California. Our household wouldn’t be the same without our three Labrador Retrievers, Bailey, Ghost, and Copper, who bring boundless joy to our lives.
With degrees in Business Management, Information Systems, and Photography, my background is as varied as it is dedicated. I am committed to ongoing growth, attending workshops and conventions nationwide to refine my craft. I’m also an active member of professional organizations, including WPPI, PPA, and Sony Imaging PRO Support, and I am working toward my Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) certification. My work has been featured in publications such as Ceremony Magazine, Real Weddings, and Style Me Pretty, as well as in print magazines like PDN, Real Weddings, and Diablo Bride.

Larry
I’m Larry Labrot, and photography has been a lifelong journey. Growing up surrounded by my father’s work—Sylvester Labrot, a fine art photographer with pieces in the Museum of Modern Art and published collections—I was immersed in an environment filled with creativity and expression. While I tried to be just a kid, I couldn’t help but feel drawn to the art around me. From sailing on Long Island Sound to exploring Connecticut, I grew up with a camera always within reach, capturing the world as I saw it.
Naturally, I picked up a camera myself and embarked on my path in photography. It started with casual snapshots—my car, college life at the University of Southern California, and a semester abroad in Madrid. Through these early experiences, photography became part of my identity.
While at USC, I explored many career paths, studying social work, sociology, and political science and ultimately finding purpose in education. Teaching allowed me to integrate my passion for photography, guiding students through “the study of light” and image-making fundamentals. One memorable project had students crafting pinhole cameras and using a classroom darkroom built from a refrigerator box. Through these experiences, I saw how photography could deeply move people—like the day I gifted a parent volunteer photos of her children and watched her overcome with emotion.
Soon after, I turned my passion into a profession, capturing portraits, family moments, and weddings. In 2007, I met Debbie at a bridal show—both of us driven by a shared love of wedding photography. Since then, we’ve inspired each other to reach new heights, pushing the boundaries of our creativity and dedication. My professional growth continues as a proud WPPI, PPA, PPC, and the Society for Photographic Education (SPE) member.
David
I’m David Norman, a Sacramento photographer with a knack for capturing the world in unexpected ways—whether through the lens of a Sony camera or soaring above with a drone. Photography is my way of freezing time, bringing people’s stories to life with an eye for detail and a bit of wit thrown in for good measure.
I’m known for my sarcastic humor and quick-witted takes on life, which you’ll notice within minutes of meeting me. But don’t let that fool you—beneath the humor, I’m fiercely loyal to the people I care about. My friends know that if they ever need someone in their corner, I’ll be there.
My journey with photography started like most things in my life: unplanned yet perfectly timed. I picked up a Sony camera, and before I knew it, I was chasing sunsets, capturing candid moments, and eventually adding drones to my arsenal to get those shots that make you stop and look twice. From unique angles to bold compositions, I aim to bring a fresh perspective to every frame.
I’m probably cracking jokes, exploring a new place, or plotting my next creative project when I'm not behind the camera. I’m passionate about what I do and committed to ensuring each client leaves with images they’ll look back on for years.
Let’s create something unforgettable—just be prepared for a few laughs.
Lauren
